PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an easy generation of error operation, as well as to improve the workability. SOLUTION: This desk stand is composed by providing a lamp body 4 having a socket 8 installing a discharge lamp 7; an arm 3 to support the lamp body 4; an ignition device 5 to ignite the discharge lamp 7 at a high-frequency, as well as connected to the socket 8 through a lamp line 8a passing through the arm 3; and a switch 6 to put on and off the discharge lamp 7. While the switch 6 is provided at the tip of the front surface side of the lamp body 4, two lines of auxiliary arms 3d electromagnetic shielded, and provided almost parallel to the arm 3 are provided, and the lamp line 8a is inserted to one side auxiliary arm 3b, while an ignition control line 6c is inserted to the other side auxiliary arm 3d. |
