The coupling unit has a cover with a ring shaped enclosure (60) and at least one target element (110) for a sensor, which detects a rotation of the cover. The cover and the target element are constructed as a one piece entity. The target element (110) consists of at least one axially aligned tongue which is arranged projecting radially outwards, in relation to the ring shaped enclosure (60). The fixing attachment and the tongue extend axially from an axial termination edge of the ring shaped enclosure.
