Two-part electrical conductor clamp

The electrical conductor clamp (1) has the inserted conductor secured between co-operating clamp surfaces of relatively displaced clamp parts via a tensioning device. One clamp surface is provided by a circular bore (3) in a cylindrical clamp housing (2), the other provided by a relatively displaced ball (8), acted on by the tensioning device. The clamp housing has a contact part (4) with an integral threaded section (5) and a projecting terminal tongue. The rounded surface of the ball facilitates its rotation for easy insertion and removal of the conductor.
