A first polarizer (190) positioned between a light source (174) and the container (114) polarizes light provided by the light source (174) for illuminating the container (114). A second polarizer (192) positioned between the container (114) and a camera (168) polarizes the light transmitted through the container (114) to the camera (168). As positioned, the axes (182) of transmission of the first (190) and second (192) polarizers are non-parallel relative to each other.
