Framing edge-sealed and adhered transparent sheet

This new framed sheet is especially a transparent pane, which is inserted into a flange provided in the wall opening (6) of a vehicle or craft. Soft elastic material is injected around the edge, to form a frame (2). This includes a projecting sealing lip (4) making contact with the holding flange (8). The assembly is affixed to the holding flange (8) through the polyurethane layer (10) adhering to the sheet, and an adhesive (9). The novel feature here is application of the polyurethane layer on to the sheet in an injection mould.
