Package for food products comprised of a paper bag, called a bellows bag, having at least one bottom, two long sides and two short sides, having on the internal face of one of said long sides a first hooking member (5) intended to cooperate with a second hooking member (6) which is complementary of the first hooking member and which is fixed to the external face of the opposite long side, the package being characterized in that it is further comprised of a preferential preformed transverse folding line (7) and a cutting (4). The position of the hooking members, of the cutting and of the folding line are selected in such a way that the hooking members are facing each other when the bag is folded along the folding line and that said members may then cooperate when each other in order to maintain the bag in a closed position.
