The vehicle cab is spring-supported in the framework (1) so that it can move in relation to the framework and is arranged so that it is located at the back of the engine (2). The cab has a limiting wall (7) turned towards the vehicle front end, which has a hood (8) extending into the cab, which covers at least a part of the drive unit (2-4). A swaying inhibitor (17) reduces the swaying of the vehicle cab and incorporates a torsion component (18) at the front part of the vehicle cab on the side facing the drive unit. The torsion component extends crossways in the vehicle longitudinal direction over the drive unit.
