The invention relates to a vehicle with controlled-level suspension, especially pneumatic suspension. With the vehicle completely or almost completely stationary and with the handbrake applied, level control is usually interrupted for a period. Further level control is possible only on the expiry of that period or when a vehicle door is opened.
