Production of flexible foam mouldings with zones of different hardness

摘要

A process for the production of moulded products with zones of different crushing strength from flexible polyurethane (PUR) foam, in which two different PUR foam formulations are introduced into a 2-part casting mould, one formulation into the bottom half of the mould and the other into the top half with an even distribution, the mould is closed about 10-60 secs. after the onset of expansion, and the product is demoulded after foaming is complete.
