The switch has at least one switching lever (2) and a connected electronic unit. The lever can be moved from a rest position into several functional positions in each of which it switches an associated function. At least one function is only switched off when the electronic unit produces a corresp. reset signal. A spring loaded pressure part (5) on the end (4) of the lever remote from the actuating handle (3) interacts with a compact three-dimensional control gate recess (6) which is formed in a carrier body (7) so that the pressure part engages the control gate recess edge (14) in the extreme position of the switching lever.
