The cooling device is arranged in a device housing (20) which has a suction opening (11) and an outlet opening (26). The device can be built on to the wall of the circuit box which has an associated suction opening and inlet opening. The device has a coolant circulation path including an evaporator, condenser and compressor. The device also has a droplet removing device (30) with a conveying device. This is arranged in the housing (20) in the region of the upper edge of the outlet opening (26) and conveys the condensed water away to a collection device. The lower side (36) of the conveying device away from the outlet opening is formed as a conveying gutter. The lower edge (35) of the conveying device is spaced from the outlet opening. The lower side of the gutter is preferably concave when viewed from below.
