Computer-based system for estimating effect of industrial production upon environment

An environmental modelling system is used to determine the overall energy implications and effects upon the natural world of manufacturing products and also recycling. The process is organised in stages and bins with material requirements, eg coal, minerals, natural gas, etc S1. Subsequent stages consider energy to manufacture S2, emissions caused by product vehicle distribution S3, total energy over life time S4 and waste handling S6. Material and energy parameters are stored in memory and the model is computer programmed.
