An automotive e.g. boot or bonnet (1) lock arrangement and assembly has a lock cylinder (5) and hand-grip (14) protected by a cover (2) which is an automotive badge (7) or trade mark and incorporated in the vehicle bodywork (1). The cover (2) slides up and down or rotates when released to reveal a recess (3) into which the fingers may grip the rear of the cover (2) lower edge (14) for operation of the relevant bodywork hatch (1).
