The invention relates to novel sulphonyl amino(thio)carbonyl compounds of the formula (I) in which n is 0, 1 or 2, A is a single bond, oxygen, sulphur or the group N-R, where R is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl or cycloalkyl, Q is oxygen or sulphur, R<1> is hydrogen, formyl or possibly substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkyl am ino, alkoxy amino, dialkyl amino, N-alkoxy-N-alkyl amino, alkyl carbonyl, alkoxy carbonyl, alkyl sulphonyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl carbonyl or cycloalkyl sulphonyl, R<2> is cyano, halogen or possibly substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkyl sulphinyl, alkyl sulphonyl, dialkylamino sulphonyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, alkenyloxy or alkinyloxy, and R<3> is possibly substituted heterocyclyl with 5 ring members, at least one of which is oxygen, sulphur or nitrogen and one to three others may be nitrogen. Also disclosed are salts of compounds of formula (I), several processes and novel intermediate products for their production and their use as herbicides.
