Control unit for brushless electric motor

The control unit (9) has a base (10) in the form of a flat dish of electrically insulating material in which a board (26) is mounted which has printed circuits and at least one power transistor (MOSFET) mounted in cantilever fashion. Tubular supports (13) made in one piece with the base protrude from its bottom and form lead-throughs for connections to the motor coils in the assembled state. The connections can be connected to conducting elements on the board. The base is filled with an insulating material (31) which sets within it and is finally hardened.
