Boot-holder on snowboard

The boot (1) has an upper (6) to which the sole (3), bearing against the board (4) is fixed. The holders position the boot in its lengthwise direction, while lateral areas (7,8) at front and rear work with mating ones (7,7A,8,8A) on the sole. The transverse axes (XX',YY') of these areas can be spaced apart for a distance (L) common to at least two sizes of boot. They can be level with the metatarsus and heel-bones of the user's foot. The portion of the sole between the boot toe and the front holder can be resilient.
