The invention concerns a device for changing the types of operation of a microscope tube between the observation, recording and simultaneous observation and recording settings. The device comprises a completely reflective first element for deflecting all the radiation from the microscope lens and a partially permeable second element for splitting the radiation from the microscope lens. The first and second elements are disposed on first and second guide slides which can be displaced with and towards each other in a plane.
