The gear has two differential wheels (8,9), each of which is non-rotatively connected with each of two drive shafts emerging from the differential gear. The gear housing (1) comprises two housing parts (18,19) connected with each other in a dividing plane, which is parallel with and laterally displaced from a plane through the differential shafts. One differential shaft (5) is so long that it can be pushed outwards through the gear housing, whilst the other (6) is so short that it can be inserted from the side for assembly to the gear housing with pins. The gear housing can be machined with a rotating tool to be formed with a spherical inner surface against which four differential conical pinions (3) and the differential wheels can be supported to absorb large forces. |
