Heating device for viscous fluid in coupling between drive shaft and rotor

The heating device serves a rotor in working connection with a drive shaft (2) and contains a heating chamber (7) for the viscous fluid. The rotor rotates with the drive shaft, exerting a shear force on the fluid and creating heat in the heating chamber. The rotor has a flat rotor casing (131) and a hub (132) of greater axial length than the casing. There is also a mechanism for fixing the rotor to the drive shaft which transmits the torque from the drive shaft to the rotor. The hub may be formed separately from the rotor casing.
