The fitting has a frame (16) holding an equipment insert (12) with integral sealing lips on its mounting side which interact with the wall (180 to ensure sealing against liquid, esp. water. The frame is made of a flexurally stiff plastic with a coating (20) of soft plastic at least on the front forming a peripheral sealing lip (22) on the outer edge and a further sealing lip (28) on the inner edge. A peripheral sealing wall (26) formed facing the equipment insert contacts the insert mounting surface (18) and forms a multiple seal with the sealing lips.
