The invention features a sheet metal bending machine, constituted by a smooth press roller around which the sheet metal is rolled, after bending, and by smooth carrying rollers against which the press roller presses, is characterised in that the carrying roller (2) is supported at one end by a fixed bearing (15) and at its other end by a retractable bearing (18), and in that the press rollers (3, 4) are supported, directly or indirectly (support rollers) by a plurality of bearings (5) supported by a control mechanism called "inclined blocks" (7,8).
