摘要
<p>A biaxially oriented base film made from polyethylene 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate and a floppy disk for high-density magnetic recording made from the film. The film and the disk are characterized in that the vibration of the film surface is suppressed so as to enable the contact with a magnetic head under given conditions even at a high rotational speed and that they have an excellent viscoelasticity.</p>
