The composite material contains 5-97 vol.% aerogel particles and adhesive(s), and the dia. of the aerogel particles is < 0.5 mm. Also claimed are: (i) the mfr. of the composite; and (ii) mouldings, esp. boards, contg. or consisting of the composite.
