<p>A gene (B19) specific exclusively to human Th2 which has been prepared and identified by the subtraction method; a recombinant vector having this gene integrated thereinto; a transformant transformed by this vector; a protein specific to human Th2 encoded by the above-mentioned gene originating in the transformant; a monoclonal antibody against this human Th2-specific protein, and the use of the above-mentioned gene, protein, antibody, etc., in the identification or correction of the polarization in the distribution of Th1 and Th2, which are the subsets of helper T cells, to thereby establish means for identifying the progression or type of immunological diseases based on the information thus obtained.</p> |
