The advertisement is in the form of images, in which sound or animation is applied to computer video CD-ROMs. 10 Mbytes of advertising data can be displayed and presented, so that the user must acknowledge it by a key stroke or mouse selection. The arrangement enables games and programmes to be advantageously advertised, with long blocks of advertising material available to be selected.
