A multi-layer film (22) forming the tubular wall section of a tube comprises one or more barrier layers (10) and has a total thickness (d) between the outer (14) and inner (15) sides. At least one barrier layer (10) is located at a distance (a) of 5-40 % of the total thickness (d) from the inner side (15). The manufacturing processes include simultaneous coextrusion of all layers or where the film has a symmetric construction, laminating, in which a pre-laminate, comprising a barrier layer (10) and cover layers (11) on both sides, is produced, folded over in the centre and the opposing contacting faces laminated together. Also claimed is a use for the multi-layer film for the tubular wall section of tubes for cosmetic, pharmaceutical or personal hygiene products. |
