The system (1) has greasers (3) following a first path and comprises several pumps (7) driven along a second path. It has a frame which supports a pump cylinder and piston which translate relative to the frame and come into contact with the greasing head during the greasing phase. The system is driven by the action of the greasing heads on the pump moving parts (2). The pump cylinder engages a ramp (12), moved by actuators (13), which puts the pump piston in contact with the greasing head. The pump cylinder has a roller which runs on the ramp. The pumps are connected by an endless belt and the pump frame is held immobile relative to the corresponding greaser head while its movable part displaces perpendicularly to the head path.
