<p>The immobilisation of a vehicle on a roller conveyor (3) of a rail transport platform (1) utilises fixed wedges (10,12). These wedges are located either side the conveyor and immobilise the two locked steering wheels (R1,R2). The wedges are positioned such that, after locking the two steering wheels, the front part of one wheel is opposite the front wedge and the rear part of the other wheel is opposite the rear wedge. The two wedges are axially displaced along the conveyor axis (X-X) by a distance corresponding to the diameter of the wheels. Each wedge has a wheel coupling which immobilises the steering wheels against the respective wedge.</p> |
