<p>Method for manufacturing self-adhesive, printed labels, in which each label is provided with a gum layer. All labels are applied to a backing strip with the gummed side down. A strip of transparent label material is provided at regular intervals with images (4) which are preferably in mirror image, after which the strip is provided with a gum layer on the side provided with images. The side of the strip of label material provided with an adhesive layer is covered by the backing strip. The labels are then punched or cut out without cutting through the backing strip. The layer of label material is made of a transparent material, the gum layer being applied on top of the print. A roll (1) with self-adhesive labels is obtained in this way, consisting of a backing strip (2) to which labels provided with a gum layer are applied in a detachable manner, the labels being provided with print. <IMAGE></p> |
