<p>The support comprises a vice with fixed (4) and movable (5) jaws to support a cylindrical material (6). A base (2) carries an articulation spindle (9) for a longitudinal support (3) which is pivoted on the base by one of its ends about this spindle. Its other end overhangs the base and has the fixed jaw. A locking lever (24) between the base and the support immobilises the support on the base in several positions about the articulation spindle. The base comprises a polyhedral part (7) beyond the support articulated end. Each of its faces is parallel to the articulation spindle. The locking lever is at the support rear end and is suspended by one of its ends about a spindle (15) orthogonal to the articulation spindle. At its other end it has a plane surface (25) parallel to the suspension spindle able to be supported successively on each of the surfaces of the polyhedral part.</p> |
