PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized rocking device rockable over the long period of time and suitable for displaying a wrist watch device housing the mechanism of an automatic power generator or the like. SOLUTION: In this rocking device 10 for which a rocking base 12 is supported to a fixed base 11 turnably by upper and lower rocking shafts 14, a rotary weight 21 is housed in the rocking base 12 and the rotary weight 21 is rotated so as to be moved to left and right positions holding the rocking shafts 14 there between by a stepping motor 27. Since the centroid of the rocking base 12 is moved to the left and right of the rocking shafts 14 by the movement of the rotary weight 21, the rocking base 12 is rocked. Since the rocking base 12 is rocked just by moving the rotary weight 21 without driving the rocking base 12 itself, the mechanism required for rocking is compacted. Further, since energy required for rocking is reduced, the rocking base 12 is moved over the long period of time even by a battery. |
