PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intermediate transfer material certainly holding ink writing properties and ink re-transfer properties over a long period of time by constituting the same of a surface layer composed of silicone rubber containing non-reactive polyorganosiloxane represented by a specific general formula and an intermediate layer composed of silicone rubber different in compsn. SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer material has a transfer layer consisting of a surface layer composed of silicone rubber wherein 1-20 pts.wt. of non- reactive organopolysiloxane represented by formula I (wherein R<1> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing no aliphatic unsaturated group, R<2> is a methyl group and 1-30mol% of a phenyl group and n is a positive integer) and having viscosity of 100-100000cPs at 25 deg.C is added to 100 pts.wt. of addition type silicone rubber containing no inorg. filler and an intermediate layer composed of silicone rubber wherein 1-20 pts.wt. of non-reactive organopolysiloxane represented by the formula I and havirig viscosity of 100-100000cPs at 25 deg.C is added to 100 pts.wt. of addition type silicone rubber.
