PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colorant composition which has excellent erasability and which, when e.g. the dress is stained with it by mistake, does not dye it and can be easily erased by e.g. washing by mixing a bye having low direct dyeing properties with a water-soluble resin. SOLUTION: A lowly substantive dye (A) is mixed with a water-soluble resin (B) desirably in an A/B mixing ratio of at least 10% to obtain an erasable colorant composition. Component A used may be a reactive dye or an acid dye and is particularly desirably a reactive dye of e.g. type of dichlorotriazine, monochlorotriazine, vinyl sulfone, chloropyrimidine, dichloroquinoxadine or monochlorotriazine/vinyl sulfone difunctional group. Component B is desirably a polyethylene glycol, a polyalkylene compound, a polyvinyl alcohol or the like. The obtained composition can be used for use in Indian inks, painting colors, marking pen inks, etc. |
