PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject combined filament yarn having soft touch, proper bulkiness, drape, tension and stiffness, not having a waxy touch characteristic to synthetic fibers and suitable for the uses of clothes for women by combining low shrinkable filaments having fine crimps with highly shrinkable filaments large in single filament fineness. SOLUTION: This combined filament yarn is produced by combining the highly shrinkable filaments A of polyethylene terephthalate polyester copolymerized with 5-15mol.% of isophthalic acid (inferent viscosity [η] is 0.4-0.7cc/g) with low shrinkable polyethylene terephthalate polyester filaments B (inherent viscosity [η] is 0.55-0.75cc/g which is larger than that of the filament A) in an A/B weight ratio of 3/7 to 7/3. The fineness of the filaments A and the fineness of the filament B are 4-10 denier and 0.05-0.5 denier, respectively, and the birefringence of the filament A and the birefringence of the filament B are (80-180)×10<-3> and (100-180)×10<-3> , respectively.
