<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a vehicle internal trim member comprising a skin material which can be uniformly bonded to the entire face of a base, without a residual dry spot in the skin material even when a vacuum molding is performed, by causing a compressed air pressure to act on the skin material in a lid frame so that the skin material is contact-bonded on the surface of the base. SOLUTION: When a vacuum molding process is about to end or a after the process is ended, a skin material 1 is stored in a lid frame 11 by causing the lid frame 11 to descend, and at the same time, the lid frame 11 is firmly assembled into a back-up mold 10. Following the descent of the lid frame 11, a graining blade 11f forces the face of the skin material 1 into a groove for graining a lining base 2, so that the skin material 1 has the face bonded with a grain pattern. After the lid frame 11 is assembled, an air pressure forming is performed which cause a compressed air pressure to act upon the skin material 2 in the lid frame. Thus it is possible to uniformly contact-bond the skin material 1 to the face of the lining base 2 by the uniform action of the compressed air pressure upon the front face of the skin material 1.</p> |
