PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect seating with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A seating detector comprises a pressure sensitive switch 3 disposed in a seat on which a person may be seated and composed of a pair of films 31 and 32 and pairs of electrodes 33 and 34 arranged between the pair of films 31 and 32 with predetermined intervals therebetween, and a decision circuit connected to the electrodes 33 and 34 in the pressure sensitive switch 3. The decision means 4 detects whether the pressure sensitive switch 3 is turned on or off from the conducting state between the electrodes 33 and 34 in the pressure sensitive switch 3 to thereby decide seating on the seat 2 or not based on the detected value. |
