PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can start the printing operation half way in the case the content of a text is printed by a plurality of cycles. SOLUTION: When a desired text is input and printing colors are set (S5, S6) by the operation of a scope specifying key (S4:YES) and then a printing key is operated (S7:YES), the printing colors to be printed are set by the printing color setting (S8), and the text of set printed colors is printed on a printing tape (S9). Even when the power source voltage is lowered and the printing is discontinued half way in printing, the printing can be restarted at the discontinuing point by setting the unprinted colors by means of printing color setting process and printing. |
