PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string protector and a racket with which the vibrations of strings spread over a face part can be remarkably attenuated. SOLUTION: String protectors 7 are mounted at the face top, both face sides and face bottom of a tennis racket. The string protector 7 is provided with plural cylinder parts 8, band part 9 for linking the respective base end parts of cylinder parts 8, and vibration absorber 10. Concerning 1st and 2nd cylinder parts 8a and 8b, its length in cylinder axial center line direction is longer than a 3rd cylinder part 8c between them. The vibration absorber 10 is bridged between these 1st and 2nd cylinder parts 8a and 8b. This vibration absorber 10 is arch-shaped while expanding its lengthwise center part away from the band part 9. |
