<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable the repetition of a magnetically writing operation and thereby prevent monetary information from being forged by automatically deleting data in a recording layer on an area for a fixed amount of monetary value spent for the use of a card, in the card which has plural areas for the fixed amount of monetary value and monetary information stored after the liquidation of a chargeable amount for the use of the card by reading the monetary information. SOLUTION: If a magnetic card 1 is inserted through a card insertion aperture 6A when used, transport rolls 10... are rotated by a microcomputer 8 in accordance with the output of a sensor 16 which detects the insertion of the card 1 to position the card 1 at the part of a reading device 7. Thus the reading of the card 1 is performed and the chargeable amount of monetary value for the use of the card is liquidated to write the liquidation in either or plural arms for the fixed amount of monetary value. Next, the card 1 is sent to a write preventing part 11, and a rotary cutter 13 is brought into contact with the area for a fixed amount of monetary value indicating a zero balance through a solenoid operating rod 12 by activation of a solenoid switch 12A. Thus the magnetically information recording layer is cut by the rotary cutter 13 to disable the repetition of a magnetically writing operation.</p> |
