LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR HANDRAIL TO BE INSTALLED OUTSIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a lighting apparatus at an optional position without wiring and to simplify the installation by a method wherein electrodes are arranged at the underside of a grab part of a handrail to be installed at an outside staircase while electrodes are provided at a fixing member for the lighting apparatus. SOLUTION: Electrodes 4 are arranged through insulators 6 at the underside of a grab part 2 to be fixed to balusters and connected to an electric power source 3 while electrodes 10 are arranged at a fixing member 8 for a lighting apparatus and brought into contact with the electrodes 4 for electrification. On installing the lighting apparatus 7, a groove 9 of the fixing member 8 is fitted to a projecting part 5 of the grab part 2 and fixed at an optional position with screws 11 or the like. The electric power source 3 is connected through a joint box or a transforming circuit to a household electric power source, or a solar battery or the like. On installation, the lighting apparatus 7 can be fixed at an optional position without wiring. Thereby, the lighting apparatus can be accommodative easily and pliably to any type of installation including extended installations.
