PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording liq. which can form an image having optical density and lightfastness equal to those of a silver salt photograph image and a suitable recording method using the same. SOLUTION: This recording liq. contains a phthalocyanine dye and a triphenylmethane dye. A suitable triphenylmethane dye is C.I. Acid Blue 9. Recording is performed by attaching the recording liq. to a dye-accepting layer contg. an intercalation compd. which has exchangeable anions and fixes a dye by an intercalation reaction based on an ion-exchange action. |
