PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition, excellent in safety, heat resistance and spreadability of a soil- and odor-proofing agent, and capable of easily performing soil- and odor-proofing treatment on a subject article at a low cost. SOLUTION: This aerosol composition is obtained by compounding at least one photocatalyst selected from a photocatalyst and a noble metalsupporting photocatalyst with a liquefied propellant. As the photocatalyst, titanium dioxide is used, and as the noble metalsupporting photocatalyst, a platinum-supporting titanium dioxide is used. A total compounding ratio of these materials is about 2-3wt.% based on the total amount of aerosol composition. Further, as the liquefied propellant, LPG is used, and its compounding ratio is about 80-98wt.% based on the total amount of the aerosol composition. Furthermore, a spreading agent and a dispersing agent are optionally compounded to the composition. When the aerosol composition is sprayed on an article which is the subject of the treatment to spread the photocatalyst, etc., e.g. an organic substance such as ammonia can be removed by decomposition as shown in the graph of the figure. |
