<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servicing mechanism facilitating the loading or unloading of a battery box in replacing the batteries of an electric bus. SOLUTION: A battery box 1 containing a large number of batteries 2 is disposed on rails 5 laid on a floor 6. The rails 5 are extended to a transfer port provided through the floor 6. The transfer port is closed with a cover body 7 which can be opened or closed. The cover body 7 also serves as a transfer bedplate of an unloading instrument 18 for unloading the battery box 1. In replacing the batteries 2, the battery box 1 is moved along the rails 5 to the transfer port or the cover body 7, and the unloading instrument 18 located under the cover body 7 is retracted in its height direction to unload the battery box 1 therefrom outside the automobile for its replacing work.</p> |
