<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively deodorize even raw malodorous gas of high concentration by sprinkling water over the raw malodorous gas to make the water to collect a part of the malodorous material, sprinkling the water that has caught it and/or water over a peat moss packed bed in the upper part and feeding the deodorized raw malodorous gas of low concentration from below. SOLUTION: Raw malodorous gas is introduced into a washing/deodorizing device 21 to collect a part of the malodorous material in the raw malodorous gas by water sprinkled from a spray nozzle 21a, and the water that has caught the part of the malodorous material is sprinkled from a spray nozzle 20c of an upper stage packed bed 12 or of an equalizing space 14. Then, the malodorous material is deodorized while it passes from the equalizing space 14 in the peat moss deodorizing device 11 to a lower stage packed bed 13, and also the malodorous components in the lower stage packed bed 13 are deodorized in the upper packed bed 12 as malodor rises. On the other hand, the gas from which a part of the malodorous material has been removed by the washing deodorizing device 21 is introduced into the peat moss deodorizing device 11 to deodorize it by bacteria 1 while it rises.</p> |
