<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a printed outline character by setting the first color and the second color for a character to be ornamented with a void and printing its contour in the first color and the void in the second color. SOLUTION: To create a printing tape, a character string A, B, C, D is stored, an ordinary character is set for the characters A, D, and an outline character for the character B, C. Furthermore, a print color 1 is set for the ordinary characters A, D and the print color 1 for the contours 102A, 103A of ornamented characters and the print color 2 for the voids 102B, 103B. When the print key is pressed, printing starts, the entirety of the character A, the contours 102A, 103A of the character B and C, and the entirety of the character D are printed in the print color 1, the voids 102B, 103B of the character B and C are printed in the print color 2. Printing the contour and the void of an ornamented character in different colors improves the appearance of the character.</p> |
