PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable Hook-and-Loop fastener which exhibits no possibility of becoming a cause for disrupting environment of the earth and generating pollution of the waste even if it is used for a disposable product and is degraded as fast as possible with microorganisms in soil and water after it is used. SOLUTION: A Hook-and-Loop fastener 1 consists of a base 2 and a number of hooking elements 3 projected on the surface. In addition, the base 2 and the hooking elements 3 are formed of a biodegradable resin. In a pref. embodiment, at least base 2 of the fastener 1 has such a cross-sectional shape that enlarges its specific surface area e.g. channel parts 5 and/or hole parts are formed on the base or hole parts being extended from the book face of the base 2 to the inside of the hooking elements 3. In the biodegradable Hook-and- Loop fastener with the channel parts 5 and/or the hole parts like this, at least a part of the base 2 is formed of a water-soluble resin and another part is formed of a biodegradable resin and, after the fastener is manufactured, the water-soluble resin is dissolved in a solvent to easily prepare the Hook-and-Loop fastener. |
