<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate printing speed of full color image. SOLUTION: Four micro-mirror arrays are provided in a digital micro-mirror apparatus and four lines are simultaneously recorded on a photographic paper 34 being carried continuously at a const. velocity V. While the photographic paper 34 is moved by L, a red color exposure sequence, a green color exposure sequence and a blue color exposure sequence are successively performed. These exposure sequences are switched on every movement of the photographic paper 34 by L/3. As each part of the photographic paper 34 passes through successively four projected lines by micro-mirror arrays, one picture element on the photographic paper 34 are exposed four times at the max. to one color by four micro- mirrors M11-M41 arranged on the same line. Each picture element can be recorded by a required density by this line multiple exposure.</p> |
