PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluorine-containing vinyl ether in high yield, suitable for using tetrafluoroethylene under a low-pressure condition, increasing formation of a multi-addition product, by reacting an alkoxide compound with tetrafluoroethylene. SOLUTION: In reacting (A) an alkoxide compound with (B) tetrafluoroethylene, a mist of a solution obtained by dissolving the component A is brought into contact with >=1mol of the component B. For example, the component A is dissolved in dioxane, etc., by using a compound of the formula RfCH2 OM (Rf is a halogenated hydrocarbon; M is an alkali metal), the mist having about 500μm is formed by using a spray gun, etc., and the reaction is carried out at 5-20kg/cm<2> -G at 50-120 deg.C for several minutes to 30 minutes.
