PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an sate and automatically opening/closing mechanism for a slide door by providing an engagement wheel with cancelling levers overlapping each other. SOLUTION: A power unit has an automatically closing locking device, a motor automatically electrified when a latch for the locking device is half- latched, an engagement wheel 51 which has an engagement step on the outer periphery rotated by the motor and a band metal rotated around a shaft by an engagement pin 56 engaged with the engagement step of the engagement wheel 51. The engagement wheel 51 is provided with cancelling levers overlapping each other. When an door opening handle is operated to open a door, the cancelling levers are moved to the outer periphery of the engagement wheel 51 to disengage the engagement pin 56 from the engagement step.
