AIR FILTER ATTACHING AND DETACHING STRUCTURE FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach and detach an air filter still having an existing whole length even in a reduced space in its drawing direction due to the installed state of an air conditioner as well as prevent the partial remaining of the air filter in the air conditioner. SOLUTION: An air filter 18 housed in an air filter housing 14 arranged at the air inlet of an air conditioner 2 as to cross the air passage is notched at its frame while partly not being processed to form a notch, and is formed with a folding part in the frame part not processed. Since the folding of the notch at the folding part causes the air filter 18 to be bent in multiple stages, the air filter 18 is easily attached or detached even in a reduced working space for attaching or detaching the air filter 18 due to obstacles.
